Quetta Qavalry have officially announced that their captain and premier fast bowler, Mohammad Amir, will not be part of the team’s opening clash of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2025 against Northern Warriors on Tuesday, owing to an unforeseen delay in visa processing.

In a statement shared with the media, the franchise eased concerns by confirming that all necessary procedures are already underway and that Amir will join the team as soon as clearance is received.

“Due to an unexpected delay in the visa processing, Mohammad Amir will not be available for today’s first game,” the statement read.

“All formalities are currently in progress, and he will join the squad and take charge as soon as his visa arrives. We appreciate your patience and continued support for the Qavalry.”

People noticed Amir's absence before that, too. It stood out especially during the captain's conference and the trophy unveiling. England's all-rounder Liam Livingstone showed up there instead. He represented the cavalry on his own.

Quetta still pushes forward with their first Abu Dhabi T10 effort. The team pulls together a solid mix of players. They blend high-level international talent with some promising local guys. You see names like Liam Livingstone in the lineup. Jason Holder joins him there.

Azam Khan adds to the strength. Imran Tahir brings experience. Evin Lewis rounds out the attack. Fabian Allen fits right in. Muhammad Waseem shows local promise. Other solid players fill out the rest.
