Sahibzada Farhan Equals Kohli Record With Blazing PSL Century

Sahibzada Farhan Equals Kohli Record With Blazing PSL Century

HK vs MS: It started at a frantic pace and never really slowed down.

The Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Multan Sultans match turned out to be a high-scoring contest.

Hyderabad Kingsmen put a massive 226 total on the board. It’s not an easy total, even on a good surface. Then Farhan shifted gears. He was calm in the chase, then suddenly became unstoppable. His unbeaten 106 off 57 balls turned a tense chase into a statement win at Gaddafi Stadium.

He didn’t slog. He picked gaps, waited, then launched. Farhan hit eight sixes and seven fours. He threaded through the field all over.

With this knock, the Sahibzada Farhan PSL century tally in T20s climbed to 9. Same number as Virat Kohli. That alone says plenty. And now, Babar Azam’s mark of 11 doesn’t feel that far anymore.

Farhan and Smith Leads Chase After Kingsmen Set 225

Earlier, Hyderabad Kingsmen piled on 225 for five. It looked massive. Maaz Sadaqat came out swinging, racing to 62 from just 26 balls. Sharjeel Khan held firm at the other end, finishing unbeaten on 51.

Multan’s bowlers had their moments. Mohammad Wasim Jr grabbed two wickets, mixing pace well. Others chipped in, but the total kept climbing. By the final over, it felt like too much.

Honestly, not many expected the chase to unfold like this.

Steve Smith gave the reply a solid base with 46. Shan Masood added 29, keeping things steady. But once Farhan settled, the equation began to shrink quickly.

The asking rate dipped. Fielders spread out. And yet, boundaries kept coming.

That’s where the Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Multan Sultans match flips its tone. What looked like a mountain slowly turned into a chase within reach. Then into control.

Arafat Minhas played a sharp cameo at the end, unbeaten 26 off 11. Quick runs, smart shots to finish the chase for the team.

For Kingsmen, Saim Ayub picked up two wickets but paid the price in runs. Others struggled to contain the flow once momentum slipped away.

When the winning runs came, there wasn’t wild chaos. Just a strong cheer. Almost like people knew they had witnessed something significant. Because this was not just another innings.

It pushed Farhan into elite company. It tightened the gap with the very best. And it left one clear thought hanging in the air. He’s just getting started.
